Sweden Rail to Host Melbourne Harbour Cruise to Kick Off AusRail 2025

With the support of the Swedish Embassy in Canberra, the Sweden Rail initiative was launched in Australia in November 2017. The goal of this informal network is to create greater business opportunities and impact through collaboration.

We believe this can best be achieved by maintaining a flexible, informal structure that organises a few strategic initiatives each year, while leveraging the strength of the Sweden brand alongside our long-standing expertise in the railway industry. Since its inception, Sweden Rail has held one to two events per year.

This year, Sweden Rail will host a Harbour Cruise in Melbourne on 25 November to kick off AusRail 2025 in grand style. We strongly believe in the power of face-to-face connection — bringing together peers from across the rail industry to discuss current and future opportunities and challenges. Our ambition is to welcome 150–180 decision-makers from the rail sector on board for an evening of networking and collaboration.
