SACC YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
Young Professionals (YP) is a subdivision of the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce that’s been around since 2004. We organise and offer a number of events for Swedes living in Sydney and in Melbourne on a temporary to permanent basis and for people interested in Swedish culture and community in general. Professional or student – we welcome all! We aim to create a network for those who are at the initial stages of their careers and are looking to establish themselves in Sydney and Melbourne.

Henric hails originally from a farm near the small country town of Väderstad, Sweden, but has considered Australia his home since 2016 when he made the move “down under” to pursue his second undergraduate degree in Business at Bond University. He presently serves as an Account Executive in the Financial Technology sector. Pyrmont is now his chosen residence, where he resides with his partner and their beloved Cavoodle puppy named Otto. Beyond his professional life, Henric’s passions encompass networking, globetrotting, sports, and sailing. Furthermore, his heart is deeply committed to community engagement and he has a strong commitment to fostering a positive change in the world. LinkedIn: Henric Nordenborg

Johannes grew up in the countryside of Skane on the old family farm but moved to Stockholm for his university studies at Stockholm School of Economics. After a few years in the Swedish capital he decided to do a 1-year transfer to Sydney, but the sun and lifestyle proved too enticing and 4.5 years later he’s made Manly his permanent home along with his partner and Cavoodle Mochi. During the week Johannes frequently travels around Australia and New Zealand in his role as Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he works with leading consumer and retail companies. On the weekend, this is replaced with competitive beach volleyball in the sun and sand of Manly beach, or competitive board games at home with friends. LinkedIn: Johannes Nordqvist
I come from a multicultural background—my mother originates from Norrbotten, Sweden, my father is from New Orleans, USA, and I grew up in Germany. After completing my undergraduate at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, I pursued a master’s degree in strategic management at the University College Dublin, Ireland, before moving to Australia in late 2019. I currently work for Wiz, the world’s fastest-growing cybersecurity startup, spearheading their business development and growth across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. My partner and I call Erskineville, Sydney, our home and love to explore the local culinary scene and play volleyball – both indoors, outdoors and on some of Sydney’s most picturesque beaches.
