SACC Business Mentorship Program Update
The SACC Business Mentorship Program 2025–2026 has been another successful year, bringing together mentors and mentees from across Australia to share experience, build connections and support professional development within the Swedish-Australian business community.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in valuable discussions on career development, leadership, industry insights and navigating international business environments. Feedback from both mentors and mentees has been very positive, highlighting the value of the program in creating meaningful connections and providing a trusted space to exchange ideas and experiences.
Many mentees shared that the program helped them gain greater clarity around career goals, expand their professional networks and benefit from the guidance of experienced business leaders. Mentors also emphasised how rewarding it has been to contribute their knowledge while gaining fresh perspectives from the next generation of professionals.
To mark the conclusion of the program, participants will gather for a wrap-up event on 23 March, providing an opportunity to reflect on the journey, share key learnings and celebrate the relationships formed over the past months.
Looking ahead, SACC is currently reviewing the program structure to further strengthen the mentorship experience. One of the proposed changes is to move the program start date to August/September, which better aligns with participants’ schedules, particularly as many mentors and mentees travel to Europe or Sweden during the European summer period.
The SACC team is grateful to all mentors and mentees who contributed their time, experience and enthusiasm to the program. Their engagement continues to play an important role in supporting the development of future leaders within the Swedish-Australian business community.
