Join us for a fun and relaxed afternoon of kubb, networking and community at the beautiful grounds of the Swedish Church. Whether you are playing or cheering from the sidelines, this is a great opportunity to enjoy some Swedish summer spirit with friends, family and fellow members of the Swedish-Australian community.

Event Details

Date and Time: Saturday 18 April at 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: Grounds of the Swedish Church in Melbourne, 21 St Georges Rd, Toorak VIC 3142
Cost: Free to attend (registration requested)

Spectators are welcome to bring a picnic rug and lunch and enjoy the afternoon while watching the games. Please note that no alcohol is permitted on the grounds of the Swedish Church. Food and refreshments will also be available for purchase from the Swedish Church café, which is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Kubb Tournament

The afternoon will feature a friendly kubb tournament, with teams competing for bragging rights and a fun day on the lawn. Depending on attendance, the tournament is planned for four teams of six players each (minimum four teams of four players). Players can register on the day, but we encourage everyone to register in advance to help SACC with planning.

1:00 PM – Arrival and welcome
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM – First game (Teams 1 vs 4)
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM – Second game (Teams 2 vs 3)
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM – Final game between the winners
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Closing, thank you and pack-up
