SACC Brisbane welcomes members and guests to an evening event at IKEA 25 March, 6pm

The sustainability event series is continuing at our new chapter in Brisbane where SACC has teamed up with IKEA who will guide us through initiatives they have taken to lay the groundwork for a circular economy.

The schedule for the event is as follows:
6.00pm: Registration, meet and greet, drinks and canapés are served
6.30pm: Welcome and Introduction
6.35pm: Panel discussion and store tour
7.45pm: Q&A
8:00pm: Mingle and drinks continues
8.30pm: Event ends

Nordic Open Golf Day – Sydney 3 March

The Nordic Open Golf Day will be held 3 March, sign up today!

Join the Nordic Chambers for the annual golf day at the Moore Park Golf Course, Sydney. The event offers unique opportunities to meet members and business contacts of the Nordic & Estonian Chambers in a social and relaxed setting. It enables great networking opportunities while offering you a chance to promote your Company and Services. You don’t have to be a Pro player as we will compete in teams of 3-4 players, with only the best score in each team being counted for every stroke (giving each team 3-4 chances for every stroke to get it right!). We have some fantastic prizes for the event including a brand new Volvo (for the lucky/skilled Hole-in-One shot!), sponsored by Volvo Cars Australia.

The Cost per Player: Members: $150, Non-Members: $165 or join a Corporate Team (4 players) for $1,100 and contribute to the prize pot (GST included)

The Nordic Engagement Lunch is a monthly event held at Denmark House on the first Wednesday of each month. Bringing together members of all Scandinavian business networks, the lunch promotes Scandinavian friendship and business engagement.

Sydney 5 Dec – 100 Point Challenge – Game, Race, Quiz

New SACC member – 100 Point Challenge – launch event in Sydney, December 2019.

Join us on 5 December for a networking event with a difference! We’ll be playing the 100 Point Challenge – a game, a race, and quiz. It’s a fantastic way to explore and learn about Sydney’s history and culture and will give you the opportunity to network and meet new people in an informal environment. The unique city discovery game involves team problem solving, navigation, and creativity. We will be playing “Bushranger’s Bash”, which is designed for locals, with a focus on The Rocks and Circular Quay area. After the game, we’ll gather at a bar in The Rocks to find out which team won the game, and for a well-deserved drink.

The 100 Point Challenge was founded by two Australians, Dan Paech and Anna Millan, who are based in Sweden. Dan is currently in Australia and will be in Sydney to lead the game and answer any questions afterwards. The company started in Stockholm in 2016 and has since expanded to Gothenburg, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and most recently, Sydney. The 100 Point Challenge now has 22 people globally and has organised team events for some of the best known companies in the world, including Google, IKEA, Spotify and
