Swedish Christmas Lunch, Brisbane 7 Dec
On 7 December, Teresia Fors, SACC Vice President and Chair of the Brisbane QLD Chapter welcomed all guests to a Swedish Christmas Lunch at Hundred Acre, St Lucia Golf Links. The restaurant is beautifully overlooking the golf course in an open setting with nice breezes flowing through. The Swedish owners of the restaurant created a delightful and traditional Swedish menu with herring, toast Skagen and Gravlax. About 20 attendees enjoyed a perfect Christmas lunch in the Queensland summer heat.
Speaker of the day, Povel Torudd, Managing Director of Berkeley Communications Australia and Chief Business Storyteller APAC, gave a valuable presentation about cyber security today and tomorrow. Thought-provoking stories about cybercrimes and cyber incident communications kept everyone intrigued throughout the lunch.
The event offered a great opportunity to meet with SACC members and other contacts from the Swedish-Australian business network in Queensland.
The SACC Brisbane chapter wishes everyone a happy holiday season and look forward to seeing everyone again in 2024!
