Through our collaboration with Grant Thornton, we are sharing this online event on insights to 2023 Federal Budget.
What can we expect in this year’s Federal Budget?
While Labor delivered its interim “Responsible Budget” in October last year, the economy has shown resilience with January 2023 numbers showing a budget deficit of $A13.6bn better than originally predicted. However, with interest rates increasing even further and the cost of living expenses rising exponentially as a result, everyday businesses – and Australians as a whole – are still feeling the pinch. While Australia is expected to have passed the inflation peak, the Government is unlikely to spend big in this budget – but to avoid recession, it needs to sensibly restore Australia’s economy.
Join this virtual seminar to unpack the proposed Budget spending and how the allocations will impact Australian businesses, as well as the tax implications and how to prepare your business.
When: Wednesday 10 May at 12.00-1.45 pm AEST
