Swedish Chambers International Days 2026

SCI Days 2026
Stockholm, 11–12 June 2026
The Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) participated in the annual Swedish Chambers International (SCI) Days held in Stockholm on 11–12 June, bringing together representatives from Swedish Chambers of Commerce around the world and regional Chambers of Commerce in Sweden.
The SCI Days commenced with the launch of the Global Business Climate Survey 2026, where Swedish companies operating across 41 international markets shared their perspectives on business performance, market conditions and future outlook. The results highlighted the resilience of Swedish companies globally, continued growth ambitions and the ongoing strength of Brand Sweden as a competitive advantage in international markets. The following one and a half days were dedicated to knowledge sharing, experience exchange, networking and workshops designed to strengthen the global Swedish chamber network and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
Day 1 – Chamber Development and Member Engagement
The first day focused on strengthening chamber operations and delivering greater value to members through innovation, engagement and best-practice sharing across the international chamber network.
Three key themes were explored:
AI in Operations
Participants discussed how artificial intelligence can be integrated into chamber operations to improve efficiency, streamline administration, enhance communications, support event management and strengthen member engagement. Chambers shared practical examples of AI tools already being implemented and explored future opportunities for leveraging technology across chamber activities.
Active Workgroups and Networks
This session focused on creating vibrant member communities through industry committees, working groups and professional networks. Discussions centred on how chambers can facilitate meaningful connections, encourage member participation, develop thought leadership initiatives and create greater value through targeted industry engagement.
Member Care, Communication and Onboarding
Participants shared best practices for attracting, onboarding and retaining members. Topics included personalised communication, member engagement strategies, onboarding processes, and approaches to ensuring members maximise the value of their chamber involvement throughout their membership journey.
Day 2 – Future Collaboration Across the Chamber Network
The second day brought together representatives from the international Swedish Chambers and regional Chambers of Commerce in Sweden to identify opportunities for increased collaboration and joint initiatives that can support Swedish companies both in Sweden and internationally.
Three key focus areas were discussed:
Trade Talks and Market Insights
Participants explored opportunities to expand online trade talks and market briefings across the chamber network. By leveraging the expertise and market knowledge of chambers around the world, these initiatives can provide Swedish companies with access to international market insights, emerging business opportunities and sector-specific knowledge.
Business Networks, Sectors and Cross-Border Collaboration
Discussions focused on strengthening connections between companies, industry sectors and business networks across markets. Opportunities were identified to develop more sector-focused collaborations, knowledge-sharing initiatives and joint activities that connect companies operating in Sweden with businesses and stakeholders in international markets.
Trade Delegations
A strong interest was expressed in increasing collaboration around member delegations, both from Sweden to international markets and from international markets to Sweden. Participants discussed how chambers can work together to facilitate business delegations, market visits, industry programs, R&D and business matchmaking activities that support internationalisation and strengthen commercial relationships.
The workshops highlighted the value of combining the local market expertise of the international chambers with the extensive business networks and industry knowledge available through Sweden’s regional chambers. By strengthening collaboration across the network, participants identified significant opportunities to create additional value for members and support Swedish companies.
The SCI Days once again demonstrated the strength of the global Swedish chamber network and provided a valuable platform for sharing ideas, developing new partnerships and identifying future opportunities for collaboration.
SACC was pleased to participate in the conference and looks forward to implementing many of the insights and ideas discussed to further strengthen member engagement, chamber activities and business opportunities for the Swedish-Australian business community.
