Swedish Chambers APAC Online Event 27 Aug: Asia Pacific – Risk or Opportunity?

27 August, 2026

🌏 Navigating the APAC Economic Outlook

Thank you to everyone who joined our recent Swedish Chamber APAC online event exploring the economic and geopolitical forces shaping business conditions across Asia Pacific.

We were delighted to welcome Eugenia Fabon Victorino, Head of Asia Strategy at SEB, who shared her insights on the region’s macroeconomic outlook and the complex mix of geopolitical uncertainty, shifting domestic priorities and rapid technological change influencing growth and investment across APAC.

The discussion also explored the growing impact of AI on the regional economy, including the opportunities it is creating as well as the new uncertainties businesses need to navigate.

A big thank you to Eugenia and SEB for an insightful and highly relevant session, and to our fellow Swedish Chambers across the Asia Pacific region for another great collaboration.

Bringing our regional networks together gives members access to perspectives and expertise from across APAC and helps strengthen connections within the wider Swedish business community.

Please find the recording, video and ppt for the online session APAC: Risk or Opportunity HERE.
