Record Turnout for SACC Young Professionals’ Midsummer Celebration 20 June Sydney

20 June, 2026

The SACC Young Professionals Network celebrated Swedish Midsummer in style at Coogee Beach on 20 June, with almost 100 people attending!

Members, friends and newcomers came together for a relaxed picnic by the beach, enjoying great food, conversations, networking and traditional Swedish lawn games such. One of the highlights of the afternoon was the traditional Midsummer dance around the maypole, where attendees of all ages joined in to celebrate one of Sweden’s most cherished cultural traditions. The traditional frog dance, laughter and sense of community created a wonderful Swedish atmosphere under the Sydney mid winter sun.

The record attendance reflected the growing engagement within SACC’s Young Professionals network and the strong interest in celebrating Swedish traditions while bringing together the Swedish-Australian community in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate Midsummer. We look forward to seeing you at our next SACC Young Professionals event!
