SACC Executive Forum | AI, Quantum & the Future of Decision Making – Sydney, 25 March 2026

The Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce (SACC), in partnership with EQT Partners Australia, was pleased to host the SACC Executive Forum at the InterContinental Hotel Sydney, bringing together senior leaders from Swedish-affiliated companies, key partners, and Team Sweden representatives for an afternoon of high-level dialogue and connection.

The forum opened with remarks from Guest of Honour H.E. Klas Molin, Ambassador of Sweden to Australia, followed by an introduction from SACC President Jan Gardberg, setting the scene for a timely discussion on how emerging technologies are reshaping industries and leadership.

Under the theme “Empowering Decision-Makers in an Era of Intelligent Transformation”, the program explored the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence and the rapidly approaching frontier of quantum technologies.

Sam Franklin, Managing Director at EQT Partners, shared insights into how AI is already transforming markets and decision-making, highlighting both the opportunities and risks as well as the continued importance of human judgement in an increasingly data-driven landscape.

Petra Andrén, CEO of Quantum Australia, provided a clear and engaging introduction to quantum technologies, outlining practical use cases across sectors and what it means for organisations to become “quantum ready” in a world where AI and quantum are beginning to converge.

The session concluded with an interactive roundtable discussion and Q&A moderated by Jan Gardberg, where participants shared perspectives, challenges, and opportunities from across industries—reinforcing the value of cross-sector dialogue in navigating complex technological shifts.

The forum was followed by a networking reception, offering continued conversation and connection across the Swedish–Australian business community.
