Systecon – Analysis Driven Life Cycle Management for Defense Readiness

Systecon is the global leader in analysis-driven Life Cycle Management LCM. The Opus Suite software platform empowers defense operators and industry suppliers to make informed, data- driven decisions across all phases of the system life cycle, from concept and development to procurement, operations, and sustainment.

Building on an unrivaled legacy in life cycle management, Opus Suite combines advanced modeling, simulation, optimization, and life cycle cost analysis to enable users to design robust systems and support solutions that maximize mission readiness, adaptability, and operational performance while minimizing total cost of ownership. Opus Suite+ brings these capabilities together in a unified, modern platform, representing the latest evolution of Opus Suite, enhancing the user experience and enabling more efficient, consistent analysis across the system life cycle.

Trusted in over 20 countries and by the majority of NATO defense forces, Opus Suite is used by defense organizations, government agencies, and prime contractors in some of the world’s most advanced and complex programs, including GCAP, F35, Gripen, Typhoon, A400M, C390, FA-50, Type 26 frigates, Leopard 2, and CV90 across air, land, and naval domains.

Whether supporting systems engineering, supportability analysis, logistics planning, maintenance optimization, or performance-based logistics, Opus Suite provides the analytical backbone for designing resilient and cost-effective defense systems, ensuring that investments translate into real world operational capability and sustained readiness.

Systecon and Opus Suite in Australia

Systecon’s relationship with Australia spans more than three decades. The Opus Suite was first introduced to the Australian Defence Organisation in 1993, and today it is formally recommended within ASDEFCON, Australia’s framework for strategic defence contracts, reflecting the depth of trust built over that time.

Systecon Australia was formally established as a dedicated local entity in May 2019, ensuring Australian customers receive tailored support backed by Systecon’s global expertise. The Australian team works directly with Defence and industry partners across all domains — air, land, and naval — supporting some of the country’s most significant acquisition and sustainment programs. These include the Hunter Class Frigates (SEA 5000) and SEA4000 Destroyer, LAND 400, the Joint Strike Fighter (AIR 6000), and numerous other major platforms delivered through prime contractors such as BAE Systems, Rheinmetall, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman.

With a strong and growing local presence, Systecon Australia is well positioned to support the continued expansion of Australian Defence capability, bringing world-leading life cycle management analysis to the programs that matter most.
