Through the SACC collaboration with Premium Member ABB in partnership with Engineers Australia, we invite members and guests to join us for events in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney to discuss the challenges and opportunities identified in ABB’s latest research report ‘Progressing Sustainability in Australian Business‘. The research focuses on sustainability in Australian business, based on 350+ responses from leaders around the country.
The events will feature a panel of business and sustainability experts from leading companies. The discussion will focus on several critical questions:
- What are the top barriers to sustainability investment for Australian businesses?
- How do we address them
- What does it take to be a sustainability leader?
- The role of technology in driving commercial outcomes and encouraging uptake
On the panel in each city, we have:
Brisbane
- James Squire, Senior Project Manager, Cross River Rail
- Paul Gleeson, Group Director – Sustainability, Aurecon
- Mario Macri, Head of Smart Buildings & Smart Power Divisions, ABB
Melbourne
