Tuesday 1 September 2026 | 6:00 – 8:30 pm
The SACC is pleased to invite you to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Intelligent Robotics Laboratory at Swinburne University, one of Australia’s leading centres for advanced humanoid robotics research.
Join the SACC Melbourne Chapter and our host, Professor Mats Isaksson, Research Director of the Intelligent Robotics Lab, for a unique opportunity to experience the latest developments in humanoid robotics, artificial intelligence and intelligent automation.
During this immersive tour, you’ll discover how Swinburne’s researchers are advancing robot locomotion, dexterity and AI-driven perception, and how these innovations are transforming humanoid robots into practical solutions for industry, healthcare and complex service environments.
Following the tour, continue the conversation over networking drinks with fellow SACC members, industry professionals, researchers and guests at the nearby Hawthorn Hotel.
