Applications Now Open – SACC Business Mentorship Program 2026–2027

The Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 2026–2027 SACC Business Mentorship Program, a 12-month professional development initiative designed to support leadership development, career growth and meaningful connections across the Swedish-Australian business community.
Building on the success of previous years, the refreshed program offers a more structured and engaging experience, combining one-on-one mentoring with leadership development, networking and educational opportunities. Participants will gain practical business insights, expand their professional networks and develop valuable skills while connecting with experienced leaders from across the SACC community.
Throughout the 12-month program, mentors and mentees will participate in:
- A launch event to introduce mentor–mentee pairs and establish goals.
- Regular one-on-one mentoring sessions.
- Leadership and career development seminar.
- Networking and business events with the broader SACC business community.
- A closing event recognising participants’ achievements and welcoming them into the SACC Mentorship Alumni Network.
The program is open to young and mid-career professionals, future leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals looking to accelerate their careers, while mentors are drawn from senior executives, business leaders, entrepreneurs and experienced professionals from SACC member companies.
Whether you would like to share your experience as a mentor or grow your leadership skills as a mentee, we encourage you to take part in this rewarding program.
Registrations are now open. Interested mentors and mentees are invited to complete the relevant application form and submit it to SACC. Places are limited, and participants will be matched based on their experience, goals and areas of interest.
Register by 14 August
The 2026–2027 mentorship program will officially launch in September 2026.
We look forward to welcoming the next cohort of mentors and mentees and continuing to strengthen the Swedish-Australian business community through knowledge sharing, leadership development and meaningful professional connections.

FEEDBACK FROM MENTEES AND MENTORS FROM PREVIOUS PROGRAMS
Mentees:
“I had a very positive experience throughout the mentorship program. The structure worked really well, and I truly appreciated the opportunity to be part of it. I was especially fortunate to have a fantastic mentor, and our conversations gave me both valuable perspective and practical insights that I can apply in my professional development.
The program helped me develop a broader understanding of working in an international and Australian business environment, provided valuable career guidance and encouragement, and gave me a trusted sounding board for questions and important career decisions.
One idea for future programs would be to include a few larger networking sessions where mentors and mentees can come together to share experiences and learn from one another. Overall, I’m incredibly grateful for the initiative and the opportunity to participate—it has been a truly rewarding experience.”

“I gained a whole lot from the relationship with my mentor! Not only did my mentor help guiding me in my career path, but also acted as a coach and helped me grow on an individual level as well as on a professional. My mentor’s personality, extensive work experience and knowledge was exactly what I needed in a mentor at that point in time. It was a great match. My main goal with the mentorship program was to establish the next steps in my career path, which we did. Not only did I enjoy the progress we made from our monthly meetings which helped me in my career, but I also really enjoyed speaking with my mentor about his life journey. I would definitely recommend the program to others.”
Mentors:
“The mentorship program exceeded my expectations. It was a genuine two-way exchange, and I feel I learned just as much as my mentee. We’ve built a strong connection that I hope will continue well beyond the program, and I’d love to keep the journey going.”

”Being a Mentor gave me a great sense of “value”. I was able to share my business and life experience gained from various positions during a lifelong career and apply this to the challenges of the Mentee. I think we achieved a lot together by identifying the key areas and specific actions which would support my Mentee’s development. I would absolutely recommend this program and will be partaking in the upcoming program.”
