✨ An Evening of Celebration: 2025 Swedish Business Awards & Christmas Dinner
On 27 November 2025, the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce, together with co-host the Embassy of Sweden in Canberra, proudly hosted the Swedish Business in Australia Awards & Christmas Dinner at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney. This signature end-of-year celebration brought together business leaders, partners and the wider Swedish–Australian community for an evening dedicated to recognising achievement, strengthening connections, and honouring Swedish festive traditions.
The night opened with a beautiful Lucia performance by the Swedish School in Sydney, creating a warm and atmospheric start to the festivities. Guests were then welcomed by Jan Gardberg, President of SACC, followed by an address from HE Klas Molin, Ambassador of Sweden to Australia, who highlighted the strength and growing impact of Swedish–Australian business collaboration.
A highlight of the evening was the traditional Julbord – Swedish Christmas buffet, featuring classic dishes and seasonal favourites that brought a true taste of Sweden to the heart of Sydney. The joyful spirit of Swedish Christmas was shared among members, guests, and partners as the community gathered to celebrate another successful year.
The centrepiece of the evening was the presentation of the 2025 Swedish Business in Australia Award Winners, recognising outstanding achievements across innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, social impact, small business excellence and professional leadership. This year’s award recipients showcased the depth, talent, and forward-thinking spirit that characterise Swedish business values in Australia.
The 2025 winners demonstrated remarkable contributions to their industries and to Swedish–Australian relations, reinforcing the importance of collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose. Read more about the Award winners here:
