Swedish Business Awards 2019

The Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) acknowledges Swedish business achievements in Australia by presenting the Swedish Business in Australia Awards. The award recipients are Swedish related businesses and young business executives or entrepreneurs that demonstrate the core values of business excellence and achievements that have raised the Swedish profile in Australia. The jury consists of selected independent Directors of SACC.

For 2019 we present the following award categories:

  1. Excellence in Business Enterprise

Open to all Swedish or Swedish-Australian businesses; large or small, newcomer or established. Here we are looking to highlight businesses or organisations that have achieved outstanding results through initiatives that demonstrate excellence in business management, a significant project, implementing a progressive sustainability strategy, innovative campaign or product, marketing/branding or a new enterprise launch.

  1. Excellence in Innovation

Recognises businesses that have made significant contributions to their industry through the introduction, improvement and implementation of an innovative solution or idea, a method, technology, process or application, new, existing or long-term.

  1. Excellence in Sustainability

The Excellence in Sustainability Award recognises organisations that execute initiatives that demonstrate leadership and commitment to sustainable business practices in planning, operations, marketing and/or in line with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) to achieve a sustainable future. We encourage businesses of all sizes and sectors that go above and beyond to achieve any of the SDG’s, to reduce the impact of their operations on the environment and/or provide products and services that have positive environmental outcomes.

  1. Excellence in Small Business

The Excellence in Small Business Award recognises a business (employing 1-20 employees) that has attained significant growth and is able to demonstrate the specific strategies and processes implemented to achieve sustainable growth in the previous 24 months. 

  1. Young Business Executive/Young Entrepreneur

This award recognises young business professionals (under 35 years) who demonstrate outstanding business spirit and strategic direction whilst providing inspiration to a new generation of upcoming young business people. A young business executive/entrepreneur, who has built a successful career within an organisation and/or operates a successful business.

Note – organisations may nominate for more than one award, however separate nominations are required for each category.
